Personal Assistants Wanted – Locum & Fixed-term Contracts

We are now looking for dedicated and responsible personal assistants to join our team.

We are currently looking for both hourly locums as needed and a person for a longer fixed-term contract.

About the Role

The work involves supporting the customer in their daily life and contributing to security, participation, and good quality of life. The customer needs help with all personal care, all household maintenance, as well as support with activities and errands outside the home.

Duties include, among other things:

• personal care
• mobilization and daily routines
• cooking and household chores
• cleaning and other household maintenance
• support with activities, walks, and excursions
• accompanying on errands and other activities outside the home

Working Hours

The work consists of both 24-hour shifts and day shifts. During some periods, you work together with a colleague, and during other times, you work alone.

Positions

Hourly Locums

We are looking for locums who can step in when regular staff is absent, for example, due to illness or vacation.

Fixed-term Contract

We are also looking for a person for a fixed-term contract where the working hours consist of:

• one 24-hour shift per week
• one shift every other weekend

We are looking for someone who

• is calm, secure, and responsible
• has good teamwork skills
• can work independently
• is flexible and responsive
• has good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)

Experience in personal assistance or healthcare and social services is meritorious, but personal suitability is most important.

Working as a personal assistant can look very different depending on the customer's disability, as well as because we are all different individuals, whether we have a disability or not. As a personal assistant, you compensate for what the customer cannot do themselves, so that they can live as much like others as possible. Working in another person's home places great demands on you as an assistant; there may also be a family to consider. It is important to have a sensitive touch to read how the customer wants things in different situations. As a personal assistant with us, you will get:
