Djurgården School Sports, together with Nobla School in Saltsjö-Boo, Nacka, is looking for an engaged and relationship-building individual who wishes to combine the role of a preschool class teacher (lärare i fritidshem) with developing and running the school's School-IF (Skol-IF) activities.

This is a combined position where you will work approximately 50% within the school's after-school care program during the day, and approximately 50% as a sports leader within Djurgården School Sports, with responsibility for establishing, developing, and running the school's section association (School-IF).

Our goal is to make physical activity a natural part of the school day and to create inclusive and joyful movement activities for all students.

Djurgården School Sports spreads the joy of movement among children and young people through activities such as dance, gymnastics, handball, basketball, swimming, and much more. We aim to create more opportunities for fun and safe physical activity before, during, and after school hours.

What you will do

Within the school's after-school care program

• Work as part of the school's after-school care and contribute to the students' safety, development, and learning.
• Plan and carry out activities together with the school staff.
• Build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and active school environment.

Within Djurgården School Sports

• Lead and develop the school's section association (School-IF) together with students and school staff.
• Organize and conduct movement activities before, during, and after school hours.
• Inspire more children and young people to participate in movement and activities.
• Act as an ambassador for Djurgården School Sports and create collaborations in the school's local area.
• Work and document using the organization's systems and tools.

• You have experience in pedagogical work, after-school activities, or club life.
• You are a qualified preschool class teacher (lärare i fritidshem).

• You have an interest in sports, movement, and health.
• You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working with others.
• You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

About the position The employment is a full-time position working Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:00. Working hours vary throughout the year, and longer working days are compensated with longer periods of leave during, for example, summer and Christmas. The position is a fixed-term appointment with good opportunities for extension. Salary and terms are negotiable.

Start date: August 3, 2026. A clean extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record registry must be presented prior to the employment offer.
