Study Administrator at K3

Content and Responsibilities

As a Study Administrator, you are the face of the university towards our students. You have an interest in working closely with both teachers and students, as well as with digital tools and systems. You will have daily contact with teachers and be part of a team with other administrative staff. You handle student services via visits, phone, and email, welcome new students, manage dispatches, registrations, course reports, and certificates for programs, several of which are at the master's level. You monitor the department's functional mailbox for students, and handling specific cases may also be part of the role. Many of our courses and degree programs are taught in English, and communication with students and teachers in these contexts takes place in English.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys working as an administrative hub in a dynamic university environment. You have an interest and ability to help others and are development- and solution-oriented. You are meticulous but also have an interest in and the ability to see your role and tasks in a broader context.

You will join a small team of colleagues, and it is important that you appreciate working and developing together with others. At the same time, it is important that you have the ability to take initiative and take personal responsibility for ensuring that work is carried out as correctly as possible. You are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work. We operate in a dynamic work environment where job content, collaboration partners, and tools change over time, which we hope you find positive and stimulating, and want you to be an important part of.

We would appreciate it if you had substantial experience in study administration at a university or college, as well as experience with educational administrative tools such as the learning platform Canvas and Ladok.

Specific requirements for this position:

You must have at least three years of upper secondary education or equivalent. We have an international work environment, which requires that you have excellent communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English. We expect you to be comfortable working in a digital environment with many digital tools and assume that you are familiar with, for example, MS Office.

Additional qualifications for this position:

Personal studies at a university or college are meritorious.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Workplace

You will be employed by the Registry Office (KS), which provides administrative support to the Faculty of Culture and Society, with a placement in our administrative team at the K3 department (Art, Culture, Communication).
