ABOUT THE POSITION

At Inre Kraft, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our sibling pair in Norsjö.

Working hours include day, evening, and 24-hour shifts with on-call duties, seven days a week.

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENTS

The clients are a sister and brother, aged 23 and 21 respectively. They are non-verbal, with autism, intellectual disability, and epilepsy. They live in separate apartments opposite each other.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and support them in their home.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals.
  • Provide support and encouragement to perform activities.
  • Accompany them to day activities.

The siblings use PECS (communicating with the help of pictures).

We are looking for you who are passionate about working with people and can analyze the needs of other individuals. Furthermore, you should be responsive, proactive, and engaged. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Employment Level:

The younger brother needs a substitute as one of his assistants is on parental leave.

The sister needs a substitute as one of her assistants is on sick leave – with a chance of extension.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Driver's license and own car, as you need to travel to and from the workplace.

MERITS

  • Experience with autism, epilepsy, and PECS.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Inre Kraft, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal details (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so order well in advance.
