ABOUT THE POSITION
At Aktiv Assistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Nydalahöjd, Umeå. We offer a parental leave substitute position at 75% from September until December 16th. There is also an opportunity to work as an hourly substitute before and after the main period. Working hours are scheduled as awake nights as follows:
Weekdays
- 21:40–06:40
Weekends
- 22:00–08:00
Start date is in September, and an introduction will take place prior to this.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a cheerful young woman in her 20s who needs help with all daily activities. The tasks include:
- Help with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
- Medication and inhalation
- Mobility and transfers

REQUIREMENTS
- Not allergic to fur-bearing animals (there are a dog and a cat in the home)
- Non-smoker
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working as a personal assistant or within healthcare
Employment level: 1 parental leave substitute position, 75%, September until December 16, 2026.
Salary: We offer individual salary setting. Other benefits are in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal details (Personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is recommended to order well in advance.
