ABOUT THE POSITION
At Aktiv Assistans, we are currently looking for a personal assistant for our client in Umeå. The position is a temporary hourly employment on an as-needed basis, covering absences due to vacation and sick leave for regular staff. We would appreciate it if you are also available to work some hours during the summer period. Working hours are scheduled during the day and evening, both weekdays and weekends.
07:00-15:30
15:30-22:00
Start date is by agreement, and we would welcome it if you could start the introduction immediately.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a woman in her late 30s with interests in interior design, music, fashion, and much more. Due to a neuromuscular disease, she needs support in her daily life.
Tasks:
Support with daily routines, such as household chores and cooking
Help with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
Mobility and support in tasks requiring motor skills
Exercise, leisure activities, and social activities

REQUIREMENTS
Experience with children or experience working with children
Must be pet-free due to allergies in the family
BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in care, elderly care, or personal assistance
Driver's license and access to a car
Employment level: 1 hourly employee on an as-needed basis now + during the summer.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal details (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed in good time.
