About the Position

Astervägen is a service housing facility within the disability sector, with a special focus on mental health issues.

In your role as a Support Assistant, your tasks include providing support, service, and nursing care to users in their daily lives. This may involve planning, supporting, and participating in activities for the users. The daily support varies depending on the users' needs. During some periods, more practical help is needed, while at other times, more motivating and structuring interventions are required. As a Support Assistant, you are expected to be able to report and document in our business system, Lifecare, establish good contact with relatives and other important persons for the individual, and perform delegated HSL (Health and Social Care Act) interventions.

The tasks also consist of supporting users in their daily lives based on the support and help they need.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant (undersköterska) and have experience within care and social work, or other experience that the employer finds suitable.

You have a care and service perspective and can adapt your work to the needs and situations of different care recipients. To succeed in the position, you need to have good collaboration skills and a flexible approach. Personal suitability is therefore given great importance.

You have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech and writing.

A Category B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

We would appreciate it if you had practical experience from working with people with disabilities, interventions granted under the LSS Act (Law on Support and Service for Certain Disability Groups) and the Social Services Act (SoL), as well as experience working with people with mental health issues.

About the Employment

Start date: 2026-09-01 or by agreement.
