Solglänta Waldorf Preschool in Gothenburg is seeking a Preschool Teacher

Solglänta Waldorf Preschool in Gothenburg is currently looking for a preschool teacher (80–90% position) for a permanent employment starting on July 26, 2028.

In addition to a relevant pedagogical education, we are looking for you with experience and/or good knowledge of Waldorf pedagogy. We also place great importance on personal suitability.

Solglänta is an established Waldorf preschool founded in 1981. We are run by a parents' association with a board consisting of elected parents, in close collaboration with our staff. The staff consists of the preschool's educators and the principal. Our guiding principle is to uphold Waldorf pedagogy and, through it, strive to be good adult role models, thereby offering the children a secure daily life and childhood.

The activity consists of three children's groups: two sibling groups with children aged 3–6 years, and a toddler group with children aged 1–2 years. Our yellow house is located in the Örgryte/Härlanda district, and we have a large, beautiful garden where the children spend time both in the mornings and afternoons. All our meals are prepared in the house, and in nice weather, we enjoy eating outside in the garden.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A preschool teacher education with an interest in or experience of Waldorf pedagogy.
• Good teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to children's development and a desire to work within a pedagogy where rhythm, care, and free play hold a central place.

Personal qualities:

We are looking for a warm, responsive, and engaged educator who thrives in a smaller operation with close proximity to both children and colleagues. You are confident in your professional role, proactive, and have a respectful approach.

Employment type: Preschool teacher, permanent employment starting July 26, 2028. Probationary period applies.
