We are looking for you with a genuine interest in people who have an addiction, usually in combination with other difficulties/diagnoses, for our support housing in Lindesberg Municipality.

In Lindesberg Municipality, there is currently an alcohol- and drug-free support housing with 10 places for people aged 21 and above. The support housing is located in apartments within walking distance of each other. We have expanded the number of places and, together with other important partners, created a good climate to succeed in the mission. The goal is for the residents to develop and maintain sobriety/drug-free status to eventually move into their own housing with functioning employment, economy, and social life. It is important that we find ways to ensure the quality of the operations and provide the best support based on evidence and research. You will be a key cog in this work together with colleagues, clients, and other collaboration partners.

Connected to the support housing, we also have some apartments for young people who, for various reasons, cannot live at home but need a safe place with stable and good support, to help the young people become independent individuals with a good foundation for their journey into adulthood.

Organizationally, the position will be part of the Social Services within Individual and Family Affairs and belong to the outpatient care, which consists of several different operations and directions. The outpatient care has employees with great knowledge, experience, and who have worked for many years with, among other things, treatment, which enables internal supervision, but also access to external supervision. We have common days for planning, education, and workplace meetings.

To be eligible for living in the support housing, it is an approved voluntary effort according to the Social Services Act, which places demands on collaboration between the decision-making social secretary and the outpatient care. There is a housing coordinator linked to the support housing as support for the housing. The operations need to continue to develop, and this is done together with clients, therapists, and staff.

Within the support housing, there are also therapists who, together with the residents and staff, will plan/treat with a focus on long-term sustainability and the individual's specific needs based on the approved effort.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

The work largely involves being a support and a central hub in the network to create the best possible conditions for clients to become a natural part of society and have the opportunity to influence their lives and well-being.

The work will involve irregular working hours. Nights are currently staffed by others.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have previous experience working with the target group and who have a good attitude combined with humor, warmth, and analytical ability, but who can also set boundaries and stand by what is decided even if there is resistance. Much of the work will take place in individual contacts, so it is important that you have your own drive, can work independently but still work as a team around the person who has been approved for the effort. We see that you have a good ability to converse and support, experience in documenting, and holding various structured meetings. We welcome applicants with CBT Step 1 training.

We would prefer that you have post-secondary education in addiction care and psychiatry or other education that the employer considers relevant for the position. Education in MI (Motivational Interviewing) is seen as an important foundation.

The position may involve a probationary period of 6 months, and an extract from the criminal record is required.

A Category B driver's license is a must.

Employment type: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent.

Union representatives can be reached via the municipality's switchboard, tel 0581-810 00. We only accept applications via Public Jobs. We decline contact with advertisers and staffing/recruitment agencies.
