Olofström Municipality is looking for a teacher in Mathematics and Technology for grades 7–9 at Högavångsskolan.

About the School

Högavångsskolan is Olofström Municipality's secondary school, located centrally in Olofström, close to nature, culture, and municipal services. The school has approximately 464 students in grades 7–9 and around 70 dedicated employees who work together to create safe, inclusive, and knowledge-stimulating learning environments. We collaborate closely with subject departments and student health services, continuously developing teaching methods so that all students can reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

As a teacher of mathematics and technology, you will teach students in grades 7–9 and contribute to their knowledge development through varied and clear instruction. You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on curriculum goals and the school's common routines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating motivating and structured learning situations that support all students' learning.
• Monitoring and assessing students' knowledge development.
• Building good relationships with students and colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in mathematics and technology for grades 7–9.
• Is highly committed to students' learning and development.
• Has strong skills in creating structure and safety in the classroom.
• Collaborates well with colleagues and contributes to a positive and developmental work climate.
