We are looking for an engaged after-school teacher in Östhammar Municipality!

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in the after-school center (fritidshem), you are responsible for teaching in the after-school center. This involves planning, implementation, and documentation of daily activities. During the school day, you collaborate with teachers in the school and participate in the school's activities. Together with your colleagues, you create the conditions for children's learning and development by actively participating in their knowledge-building and exploratory processes in various learning situations. It is important to be able to create and build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Qualifications

You who apply must be a certified teacher in the after-school center or have a pedagogical background and a strong interest in teaching in the after-school center. If you have previous experience working as a teacher specifically in the after-school center, this is naturally a merit!

In terms of personality, we see that you adapt easily to new or changed circumstances and requirements. You set goals for yourself and work hard to achieve them, and you are motivated and show enthusiasm for your task. We would like you to be outgoing and social in professional contexts. We also believe you have the ability to develop effective and supportive relationships with colleagues. Naturally, you are a considerate person who contributes to the experience that we work together.
