Your future challenge

As a Sub-project Manager, your responsibilities include leading, developing, and monitoring sub-projects. By setting clear goals and following up on progress, you create good conditions for project members to achieve results and development. Among other things, you will:

  • Be responsible for daily planning and monitoring of project deliveries (time, quality, cost).
  • Coordinate material orders according to the project schedule.
  • Communicate activities to planners/preparers for correct prioritization.
  • Plan with and inform assigned resources in the project.
  • Work proactively with risk management.
  • Coordinate with adjacent functions.
  • Drive improvements in working methods for the Development Workshop's processes.

The areas of responsibility within the SPM role vary depending on the scope and setup of the project. You are responsible for ensuring that assigned tasks are carried out according to schedule, quality, cost, and internal processes. The role also involves monitoring activities related to prototype manufacturing to create good conditions for delivery to internal customers. You execute decisions from the project and management groups and drive progress and collaboration across internal interfaces in accordance with established routines.

You will become part of the Sub-project Management department within the Development Workshop, which currently consists of 16 people, including a mix of SPMs, preparers/planners, and buyers.

Who you are

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have a university or college degree and preferably workshop experience combined with experience from the manufacturing industry. Experience with SAP is an advantage.

You are an independent person with strong drive and a high sense of responsibility. Your ability to collaborate is good, as is your communication skills, and you have a clear delivery focus with a natural commitment to achieving set goals. You tackle challenges with a positive attitude and adapt easily to a changing everyday life.

You work in a structured manner and thrive in a dynamic environment where days vary. Since we operate in an international context, it is a requirement that you master both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
