We are now looking for an experienced and driven Global Payroll Specialist for an exciting international assignment in Stockholm. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a global environment with a focus on payroll governance, process development, and coordination of international payroll deliveries. 🌟

This role is perfect for you who thrive in a dynamic organization where structure, quality, and continuous improvement are at the center. You will work closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll partners around the world and become an important part of the global payroll team.

This is not a traditional operational payroll role — the focus is instead on control, processes, compliance, and efficiency improvements on a global level. 🌍

• Act as the contact person for external payroll providers

• Ensure correct and timely global payroll delivery

• Coordinate payroll cycles and deadlines for multiple countries

• Act as backup for the Global Payroll Manager when needed

• Perform payroll validations and reconciliations

• Review payroll reports and identify discrepancies

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies

• Support audits and documentation

• Develop, improve, and standardize global payroll processes

• Create workflows and process documentation

• Drive initiatives regarding automation and efficiency

• Manage payroll input from the HR system HiBob

• Ensure data quality and accurate information

• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and external partners

• Has several years of experience in global payroll

• Has worked in an outsourced payroll environment

• Has a good understanding of payroll processes, controls, and compliance

• Is analytical, detail-oriented, and meticulous

• Is accustomed to working in HRIS and payroll systems

• Communicates fluently in English, both verbally and in writing

• Has the ability to work on-site in Stockholm 5 days a week

• Experience with payroll providers such as BDO, Deel, or similar

• Experience in building or improving payroll processes

• Worked with audits and compliance frameworks

• Experience with HiBob

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: 4–6 months

• Scope: Full-time

• Location: Stockholm (100% on-site, 5 days/week)
