About the Role The Sheraton Stockholm Hotel is in an exciting phase of development with the ambition to become the best hotel in the Nordics. We are now looking for a Financial Controller who wants to take the next step in their career and help develop the finance department together with our Director of Finance. This is an opportunity for you who currently work as an accountant and want to take on greater responsibility in an international hotel environment, where you can combine operational financial work with analysis, follow-up, and team leadership. As a Financial Controller, you will play a central role in the finance department. You will be responsible for ongoing accounting and lead the work of the team of accounting assistants. The role involves close collaboration with the hotel's department heads and management group, where you contribute with follow-up, analysis, and financial support. You report to the Director of Finance and are part of a finance team consisting of six people. Main Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure quality in the ongoing accounting within the finance department.
• Coordinate the work of the team of accounting assistants.
• Ensure accurate results for each accounting period.
• Conduct monthly follow-ups with department heads.
• Create accounting entries in connection with monthly closing.
• Responsible for reconciling all balance sheet accounts.
• Handle accruals for prepaid expenses.
• Prepare and report VAT and tax declarations.
• Contribute to the preparation of monthly reports.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Support accounts receivable functions and income audit as needed.
• Participate in other tasks within the finance department.

• Degree in Economics or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of Swedish accounting principles (USALI experience is a plus).
• Experience from the hotel or restaurant industry is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Very good skills in Excel and experience with financial systems, preferably SAP.

• Full-time position (100%), permanent employment.
