You are welcome to apply for the position of Crafts Teacher (Slöjd) at the Enehagen school district.

Enehagen School is located in central Värnamo, yet close to forests and open land. The school has approximately 280 students distributed across grades F-6, with an associated after-school center. You will also teach students from Fryele School. Our craft room is being newly renovated in 2026, along with new sewing machines and furnishings.

In this role, you are responsible for teaching crafts, with a focus on textile crafts for students in grades 3-6, as well as other common tasks for primary school teachers.

Responsibilities

• Teaching crafts in grades 3-6.
• Planning, conducting, and following up on teaching in collaboration with another crafts teacher.
• Collaboration with other teachers and work teams.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with the eligibility to teach crafts at the lower and middle school levels. You want to create the best possible teaching for our students, which you do by creating a good classroom climate and a good learning environment. You adapt and vary the teaching according to the students' needs, as well as through a good and relational approach.

The ability to collaborate, build good relationships, and maintain a positive approach towards students, parents, and colleagues are crucial qualities. Great importance is placed on personal suitability when appointing the position.
