We are now looking for a technician for the Department of Science and Technology at Linköping University.

About the job

We are looking for a technician for development work within Artificial Intelligence (AI). Your tasks will primarily consist of programming.

About you

We are looking for someone who has been admitted to the D or U programs at an advanced level at Linköping University and is at the end of their studies.

We want you to have:

• Very good knowledge of programming.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, especially Python.
• Knowledge of SQL database technology as well as alternative database technologies within AI.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience participating in AI projects within research and/or for industrial application.
• Documented programming work, especially AI solutions within the transport sector (ATM, UTM, VTS) or alternatively within industrial automation.
• Knowledge of IT security.

Your workplace

The Department of Science and Technology (IDA) was founded in 1983, but our roots go back to the early 1970s. It is one of the largest computer science departments in Northern Europe. Our research covers a broad spectrum of areas, from fundamental computer science to applied fields. The extensive research also influences our undergraduate and doctoral education, leading us to offer courses in several civil engineering and university engineering programs, as well as programs in innovative programming, cognitive science, and statistics. You will work at the Human-AI Interaction Lab (HAIIL) within the Division of Artificial Intelligence and Integrated Computer Systems (AIICS) at the Department of Science and Technology. About the employment

Scope 80-100% for approximately 10 months, subject to agreement.
