We are looking for you who want to help shape the education and teaching for our students together with colleagues in both the Student Health Team, Safety Team, and the staff group. We offer a newly renovated school environment and a dedicated colleague group where we together focus on how we can best work in a promoting and preventive manner to ensure our students complete their education.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with our teams, you have an important task to create conditions for an accessible and flexible learning environment as well as teaching adapted to our students' needs. We operate from the premise that the student is not, but becomes in a context.

You have a collaborative approach, enjoy driving school development, and see the benefits of learning from each other so that all students can achieve the best possible knowledge results.

The role involves working preventively to remove obstacles in various learning environments and to support teaching teachers in matters related to leadership and stimulation, extra adaptations, and special support. You collaborate with the school's work team and provide special educational support with a focus on success factors in teaching.

The role includes that you:

• develop accessible and inclusive learning environments together with the staff
• contribute with special educational perspectives in the school's development work
• identify success factors in teaching and spread these within the organization
• actively participate in the student health team and contribute with special educational competence
• collaborate with external actors, such as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) and Rehabilitation Services
• coordinate documentation and interventions regarding students in need of special support
• contribute to clarity in processes regarding mapping, support measures, and follow-up, and ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with steering documents and legislation
• contribute to systematic quality work and link special educational measures to the organization's goals
• plan and implement competence development initiatives within special education
• facilitate collegial learning and contribute to strengthening the quality of teaching

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as a special educator and have good pedagogical and didactic skills, as well as the ability to organize and lead work at group and individual levels successfully.

You are interested in working with school development regarding improvement issues related to student health work and have a holistic thinking in your solution-focused approach.

You have the ability to create good and sustainable relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians with the aim of contributing to an inclusive school environment for our students.
