Job Description
Do you want to help shape the future of Kalmarhem? As an HR Strategist here, you will play a key role in developing culture, leadership, and organization in a socially important company where people, collaboration, and development are at the forefront. As an HR Strategist at Kalmarhem, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the organization's ongoing work regarding values, leadership, employee engagement, and talent acquisition – with a clear business and future perspective linked to the company's long-term goals. This role suits you if you enjoy owning the big picture and taking responsibility for both structure and progress, while also having the confidence to step into operational tasks when needed. You will become a close and trusted partner to managers and the executive team, providing natural support in important decisions and choices. In this role, you will work closely with the organization and drive HR issues that make a practical difference. This involves developing and embedding values, culture, and ways of working, as well as ensuring that competence, organization, and processes are designed to meet the business's needs – both today and in the long term. You will have broad responsibility for areas such as competence development, recruitment, salary reviews, labor law, work environment, as well as collaboration with union contacts and negotiations. The role includes tasks requiring senior-level stability and structure, as well as handling administrative HR aspects related to agreements, documentation, statistics, reporting to authorities, and updating HR processes. Organizationally, you belong to the Finance Department and report to the Finance Manager.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is secure, structured, and communicative with high integrity. You have a coaching and consultative approach and build trusting relationships. You thrive in a role where you can combine strategic thinking with operational work close to the business. You work closely with managers and the executive team on complex issues and have the ability to weigh different interests, provide clear advice, and drive decisions to completion with a business-minded yet balanced employer and employee perspective. Furthermore, you are:
- Experienced in driving value, leadership, and talent acquisition issues from a company-wide perspective.
- Confident in labor law, collaboration, and dialogue with union parties.
- Experienced in supporting managers in complex issues and change management.
- Structured and analytical with a good ability to drive work forward.
- Communicative and clear in collaboration with different parts of the organization.
- Accustomed to seeing digitalization and data-driven ways of working as a natural part of modern, value-creating HR work.
- Post-secondary education in HR or equivalent.
- Several years of experience in qualified HR work.
- Good knowledge of labor law.
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
- Experience in talent acquisition work.
- Experience from public sector or non-profit organizations.
- Certification in personality tests or logical tests.
