About the Job
Burlöv Municipality, together with Primary Care Skåne, has been awarded funding from the EU AMIF (Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund) for a project named Together for child rights, focusing on the health and future of asylum-seeking children and families.
The project runs from August 1, 2026, to August 1, 2029, in collaboration with the Swedish Migration Agency.
Employment contracts will be signed for one year (August 1, 2026 – August 1, 2027) with a high chance of extension, as tasks within the employment contract may change based on the target group and operational needs.
Target Group: Children and vulnerable groups aged 0–19 years, with or without guardians, residing in return/reception centers in Burlöv Municipality.

Responsibilities
You will work preventively and remedially with the target group. You will have your office at the Arlöv Health Center (Svenshögsvägen 6), but the role involves collaboration with various actors, such as preschools, schools, student health services, family centers, outpatient psychiatry, and the Swedish Migration Agency.
You will be scheduled twice a week at the return/reception centers for approximately 2 hours per visit to initiate contact and provide basic information.
You should have experience working with people in crisis, both children and adults, and possess strong skills in building relationships, networks, and collaborations that extend beyond the traditional counselor role. You will be expected to continuously evaluate and reassess tasks and provide relevant material to your supervisor for reporting to the EU AMIF.
You should also be able to lead various types of parent education courses in collaboration with other professionals and participate in competence-building initiatives for staff working with the target group.
Qualifications
Requirements: You must have appropriate education for social work, such as a counselor, social worker, or psychologist degree.
Merits: Experience working with children and young people, as well as an intercultural approach, is advantageous.
Employment Terms
Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer (starting August 1, 2026).
