YOUR NEW JOB

We are now steering the wheel to strengthen our development-driven operations with a new colleague within the framework of business development and project coordination. The role is new and involves overall driving the work with business development and planning in the Municipal Development sector.

You have planning responsibility for the sector's overall goal management, annual calendar, and ensuring that our strategies become reality. You also have responsibility for project coordination related to monitoring upcoming calls for proposals, initiating and writing/assisting in formulating applications, economic calculations, and otherwise collecting the information needed to have various forms of external funding approved, for example from Leader or the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth. You will also, where appropriate, be available as support during the project, for example in project reports.

Part of the position will also involve general case processing tasks and support to the operations. This may involve investigation assignments in various areas that are subject to review/need for oversight. This means, among other things, collecting facts that are then compiled as a basis for impact descriptions and conclusions, compiling procurement documents, and preparing remiss statements.

YOUR COMPETENCE

We are looking for you who have relevant higher education or university education in economics, political science, or other comparable education.

It is meritorious if you have experience of:

• goal management work and growth strategies
• strategic planning work
• work with publicly funded development projects and project administration
• work with or leading development processes/investigations
• working within a politically governed organization
• case processing

We are looking for you with good cooperation skills who find it easy to build good relationships. You work independently, have good initiative, and are skilled at planning and organizing your work. You are quality-conscious, have a strategic mindset, and the ability to see the big picture.

You will belong to the Municipal Development sector and base yourself from the Municipal Office in Vindeln town. We offer the possibility of remote work part of the week.

The Municipal Development sector is responsible for, among other things, business development, association-related issues, culture, library, swimming pool, youth activities, land and development, roads, parks, public lighting, public health and minority issues, as well as the municipality's meal service.
