Västra Berga School is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) with a special needs education program. In total, we have 390 students and 80 employees. We are a resource-rich school with the will and ability to change and develop our operations. Västra Berga School is within walking distance of Maria Station, and the city bus stops just outside the school. We have recently moved into a new school building which includes a library, café, and cafeteria. We have invested in learning environments that enable practical-esthetic education, as well as a large library where the full-time librarian is a key resource.

Job Responsibilities

Västra Berga is now looking for a teacher in wood and metal crafts (slöjd) for our students. You will teach grades 3–9 and in the special needs education program. As a pedagogue, you will conduct planning, teaching, evaluation, pedagogical documentation, mentoring, contact with guardians, and collaborate with work teams and others. You lead and develop the pedagogical work and create the best possible conditions for every student.

Qualifications

You have a teaching license with eligibility in the subject of crafts (slöjd) or experience teaching crafts in comprehensive school and special needs education.
