We are now looking for an experienced digital communicator or similar (for example, a communicative UX designer) who wants to develop the municipality's digital service offering with its e-services. Since this role is newly established, you will have great opportunities to put your own mark on the work.
The position is located at the Communications Unit within the Municipal Executive Office. The Communications Unit is responsible for leading, coordinating, and following up on the municipality's communication and branding work. The work involves formulating strategic goals and guidelines for the municipality's communication and cross-municipal communication channels. The Communications Unit also acts as a communication support and develops tools for communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a digital communicator and responsible for the municipality's consolidated digital service offering and e-services, you ensure that our internal and external digital services are user-friendly and logical, in line with current legal requirements (such as GDPR and accessibility) and the municipality's strategy for digital service. You lead and coordinate the development of this with the goal of making it easy to understand and do the right thing in digital contacts with the municipality.
The role involves planning for and facilitating various working groups and acting as a coach for colleagues who need or produce e-services themselves. You will be responsible for upskilling the entire municipality so that all our operations think more about customer journeys and user-friendliness.
You will need to balance internal and target group needs against the national work ongoing in the area, identifying problems, reviewing facts, and coming up with effective and user-friendly solutions. The role involves structuring and driving development from plan and decision to delivery and implementation. You will be the one to create an overarching plan for the municipality's service web/e-services and, together with colleagues, develop our digital service in accordance with this plan.
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate and prioritize: together with system administrators (for systems such as OpenE, Sokigo, Abou) create a joint plan for the municipality's digital services, coordinate development efforts, set guiding principles for digital services
- Working methods and quality: act as expert support and contact point for internal and external actors, lead the development of common methods and working methods
- Environmental scanning and target group knowledge: analyze legal requirements and technological development, monitor new behaviors and needs among our target groups
- Develop and test: together with system/e-service developers design interaction flows and interfaces that are intuitive, based on data-driven analyses
QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in the assignment, you need to be able to create clear processes and plans, be structured and persistent. You need to see follow-up and analysis as fundamental to ensuring that development is driven in the desired direction based on the needs of target groups and operations.
You are an experienced change leader and skilled at engaging your colleagues so that everyone contributes to the common values we want to achieve with our digital service.
You enjoy collaborating with others, building trusting relationships, and acting as a cohesive link between operations/target groups (with different needs) and support functions/developers (who are to meet these needs).
You have the patience to drive extensive processes and maintain your calm and focus even in complex situations.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience working with communication (as a communicator or similar)
- Documented experience in leading/coordinating the work of developing digital service
- Ability to show examples of how you work with customer journeys and needs assessment (toolkit, models, methods)
Merits:
