Your Responsibilities

Saab is now looking for a Business Lawyer to support the Purchasing Department within Aviation Services. You will step into the role of Contract Analyst, where you will have a broad interface both internally and externally, collaborating closely with the AEW business unit. Together with Saab's current Contract Analysts and corporate functions such as Group Legal Affairs, you will support purchasers in drafting and negotiating contracts with suppliers. You will also be responsible for developing Saab's contracts, tools, and processes in close cooperation with relevant business units and Group Legal Affairs.

Your main responsibilities:

• Ensure that customer requirements are secured and included in Saab's supplier contracts as needed.
• Review and provide advice on Saab's various contracts, such as purchase agreements, NDAs, etc.
• Actively support and participate in contract negotiations.
• Provide guidance and advice on contract-related matters to the procurement organization.
• Evaluate, assess, and mitigate risks during the various phases of the procurement process.
• Work proactively with Group Legal Affairs and buyers to develop and improve contract documents, working methods, and methodologies.
• In collaboration with Group Legal Affairs, inform and train the procurement department in business law, legal risks, and contract management.
• Report legal and compliance issues to Group Legal Affairs.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in business law who is communicative, structured, and has good administrative skills. You are comfortable in negotiation situations and have an easy time building trusting relationships, both internally and externally. When legal requirements meet business reality, you have the ability to look at the big picture, see the whole, and find solutions that create value for both the business and the end user. You are receptive and actively work to create win-win solutions in dialogue with external partners.

Requirements for the Position

• University or college degree in Law.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong interest in business and corporate law (contract law, tax law, securities law, intellectual property rights, etc.).
• Experience in negotiations, preferably within industrial companies, is considered an asset.
