Your Role

As an Accountant at Absorbest, you are an important part of our finance function. You work with daily bookkeeping and contribute to keeping our accounting accurate and up-to-date. This is a role where you will learn a lot and gradually take on more responsibility.

Examples of tasks:

• Daily bookkeeping and handling of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Simple account reconciliations
• Control and matching of invoices and payments
• Administration of expenses and travel claims
• Support the team in closing processes and daily financial operations

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you need to be detail-oriented, structured, and responsible. You enjoy working methodically and have a genuine interest in numbers and finance. You are accustomed to working in digital systems and see opportunities rather than obstacles when following routines and processes.

We would like you to have:

• Post-secondary education in economics or accounting, such as university studies or vocational higher education (YH)
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting
• Good skills in Excel
• Good command of Swedish in both speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Experience from a similar role or an accounting firm
• Experience with accounting systems such as Fortnox or Visma
