About the position

Our employer is a woman in her 40s who lives on a farm just outside Aneby. She has a great interest in animals and enjoys being outdoors, although usually for shorter periods. She also appreciates creative activities such as painting nails, playing the piano, watching movies, and creating in various ways.

Due to her disabilities, the employer needs assistance around the clock. As a personal assistant, you will support her in daily life with tasks such as personal care, tube feeding, medication, and support during meals. An important part of the job is to actively motivate, encourage, and engage the employer in training and activities that strengthen her participation and quality of life.

Your workplace is where the employer is located, and you are a safe, present, and driving support in all situations in her daily life.

What is required of you?

To work as a personal assistant for our employer, it is required that you are sensitive, calm, and have great patience. You must be flexible and able to understand and read the employer's needs. Determination and the ability to reschedule activities during the day if needed are also important. Experience working as a personal assistant or similar is desirable, but not a requirement. We place the greatest emphasis on your personal qualities and the relationship you build with the employer.

To be considered for this position, you must master the Swedish language in speech and writing, be a non-smoker, and have no allergies to fur-bearing animals. There is no public transportation to the workplace, so a driver's license and access to a car are required. Alternatively, you can cycle 4–5 km from central Aneby to the employer's home.

• Working hours that occur are primarily day/night shifts and weekends

• You will have the opportunity for an introduction and to shadow an experienced assistant
