Our 5 preschools and 4 schools are distributed across the towns of Idre, Särna, and Älvdalen.

Do you love outdoor life and want to be able to ski to work?

Strandskolan in Idre and Buskoviusskolan in Särna are both located near mountains, lakes, and forests. Strandskolan, which is a grades F-9 school, has approximately 140 students, and Buskoviusskolan has approximately 45 students in grades F-5. Both schools have many elements of outdoor life in their teaching, e.g., mountain hiking and skiing. Grade 8 students spend a night in tents on the mountain in winter. We participate in RF-SISU's Sports Initiative, and Strandskolan has a very active School Sports Association. Both schools have staffed school libraries.

This is what you will work with

You will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching for students in need of special support, both individually and in groups. Your duties also include preparing and being responsible for action plans, as well as supervising and supporting teachers in the work with extra adaptations.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a certified special needs teacher, with experience and good knowledge regarding students with neuropsychiatric disabilities.

We place great importance on your ability to build good relationships with both students, colleagues, and guardians.

You are a team player who, with interest and commitment, contributes to developing the operations across the entire school. You see possibilities in change.

You plan and organize your work efficiently and are thorough and clear when working towards set goals.

Good to know

The working hours are scheduled so that you need to be on-site when school starts in the morning.
