WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

The job description includes standard tasks for a social secretary in the field of children and young people. The tasks involve investigating and assessing the resources and needs of children and families, as well as deciding on and following up various interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act with Special Provisions on Care of Young People (LVU). The work includes meetings and conversations with children, young people, and families, where documentation is an important task. We have a reception that handles new reports of concern as well as preliminary assessments in these cases. You have support in your work from the unit manager and from the work group.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a social worker, and it is meritorious if you have experience in social work and authority enforcement in the field of children and young people. Our business system is Cambio VIVA. We are looking for you who can put yourself in other people's life situations with a clear child's perspective and who can prioritize contact and time with children and young people.

As a social secretary, it is part of your daily work to meet children and families in need of support. Therefore, it is important that you have a good attitude by listening and creating an understanding of the people you meet in your professional role. You are calm and stable and can act calmly in stressful situations. Furthermore, you should be able to organize your work effectively and find it easy to reprioritize your tasks during the working day if necessary. As a social secretary, it also means that you will need to travel on business to follow up on the care of placed children and young people who are located outside the municipality, as well as travels that may occur during placements.

The requirements are that you have a B driver's license and are a social worker. You should have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Good computer skills and knowledge of the documentation system Cambio VIVA are meritorious. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
