We are now looking for a Team Leader for Benefit Case Workers.

About the Operations

The Individual and Family Care (IFO) department within the Social and Employment Administration is divided into two units: the Child and Family Unit and the Adult Unit. The units are led by unit managers and team leaders. We have just over 50 employees at IFO in Hallsberg. The Benefit Case Workers belong to the Adult Unit, which also includes social secretaries handling cases regarding social assistance, substance abuse, violence in close relationships, and outpatient care for substance abusers. The Child and Family Unit handles cases concerning children and young people, family law, foster homes, and outpatient care.

Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you are responsible for leading and distributing the daily work within your team. You support employees in their daily work, provide supervision in complex cases, and contribute to creating structure and quality in the work. The role involves collaboration with other parts of the social services, as well as with actors within healthcare and social care, and disability services. You work in a coaching and development-oriented manner with your employees, focusing on creating engagement and contributing to their professional development. You are a stable and present leader who can remain calm in challenging situations, provide reassurance during times of worry, and serve as a support in change processes. The role also includes responsibility for driving method development in line with the unit's goals and contributing to strategic work within the unit.

Qualifications

You are a Social Worker or Behavioral Scientist with a background in law within social law.

Merits

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience of authority exercises within social services.
• Experience of case processing according to LSS (The Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
• Previous experience or knowledge of the business system Lifecare.
