Within the Health and Care Administration, you make a difference every day by working closely with people and creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for the residents of Enköping. Together, we create safe and high-quality care and support for our inhabitants.

Job Responsibilities

What does the job as a personal assistant involve?

As a personal assistant with us, you work closely with a person with a disability and support them in living an independent and meaningful life. It is a varied and personal job – no two days are alike.

You might, for example:

• Help with daily chores at home
• Support with personal care
• Accompany on activities, outings, or errands
• Be a social support and contribute to safety and structure
• Help create an active, fun, and content-rich everyday life

The work is always shaped according to the individual's needs, wishes, and life situation. This means you get to know a person deeply and become an important part of their daily life and well-being.

Since every person has different needs, the requirements and tasks for the position may vary. This can range from specific work tasks to requests for personal traits, interests, or language skills. Therefore, we are looking for you who are flexible, attentive, and open to adapting your working style to the person you work with.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Want and can work as needed during the summer
• Have a Category B driver's license and access to your own car
• Have a genuine interest in people and service
• Can work in a home where there are fur-bearing animals (pets)
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Employment Type: Summer Job / Holiday Work.
Duration: 3–6 months.

Since personal assistance is about personal chemistry and security, the client makes the final choice of assistant.
