About the job

Centralskolan Töreboda is the municipality's secondary school for grades 7–9. Approximately 290 students attend the school, distributed across 12 classes and a special education group. The school is divided into three work teams.

We work from a relational approach with the student at the center. We value close relationships with both students and guardians. We are now looking for you who want to join us in this work. Here, you will have the opportunity to independently lead teaching and, together with colleagues in your work team, be part of the school's development work. You will have mentorship responsibility for a class together with a colleague. As an employee of Töreboda Municipality, you receive a wellness allowance via Epassi.

The position is 100%.

Start date: August 2026.

Responsibilities

Personal suitability is very important. You will work closely with the students and lead and drive teaching based on the students' needs. By supporting the student in structure, security/study environment, and social interaction, you guide the teaching. Your responsibilities include collaborating with other teachers and student support staff during the school day as needed.

Qualifications

Based on the students' needs, we are looking for a calm and secure person. We welcome applicants of all genders.

Previous experience working in primary/secondary school is considered an asset.

• You are interested in developing students through teaching and in social contexts.
• You are interested in how different needs affect student learning and how we can best compensate for these together. You work with a low-affective approach.
• You are creative, can adapt teaching and content to unforeseen events and situations, and always meet with a professional approach.
