Älvstorp Care and Treatment Home is an HVB (care and treatment home) for adults with substance abuse issues, criminal backgrounds, mental health challenges, and care needs. The facility has 48 places distributed across six wards and is located in Nora. All clients have their own fully furnished apartments.
Our treatment is evidence-based and relies on a professional, respectful, and relationship-building approach. The work is guided by MI (Motivational Interviewing) as a core approach, complemented by methods such as CBT, AP, ACT, rePULS, ESL, and MET.
Job Responsibilities
As a Treatment Secretary, you play a central role in the operations, responsible for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of clients' care and treatment. Your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating the client's care and treatment interventions
- Creating and monitoring implementation plans
- Conducting individual conversations and group therapy sessions
- Liaising with commissioning bodies and preparing monthly and final reports
- Documentation in medical record systems and administration using Office software
Qualifications
- A university degree of at least 180 credits, e.g., Social Worker, Behavioral Scientist, or equivalent education
- Experience in substance abuse-related work is an advantage
- Training in MI, CBT, ACT, AP, ASI, or similar is an advantage
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Fluency in Swedish, both written and spoken
