Alma Assistans is the dedicated company that creates personal assistance in collaboration with the client. We work closely with our clients and know that good relationships are the key to successful assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with our headquarters in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö.

We are looking for you who want to work for a 47-year-old man with a twinkle in his eye, a light touch of laughter, and a great sense of humor. This man has cerebral palsy (CP), lives in Uppsala, uses a wheelchair, and is non-verbal, but can express himself and make himself understood through sign language, facial expressions, and pictures.

His interests include outings, music, and sports, such as concerts and various sporting events. He enjoys watching football, floorball, and hockey in Uppsala.

Your duties include all common household tasks to create a safe and cozy environment in his home. You will accompany him to various activities, such as entertainment, medical appointments, dental visits, and pedicures. The role also involves daily care, including personal hygiene and toilet assistance.

We believe that the right candidate should be willing to take initiative, remain calm, and be attentive to create a stimulating and secure life for this young man. You must be able to handle stressful situations.

We are currently looking for you who can work extra hours and during the summer. At the client's request, we prefer female applicants.

The working hours are primarily scheduled for the afternoon, evening, and night. This includes awake night assistance, double assistance during the day and evening (i.e., two assistants working together), as well as a few hours in the morning before he leaves for his day activity program, where he works between 09:00 and 15:00, Monday to Thursday.
