Do you have an interest, willingness, and commitment to work together with children and young people? Do you like taking responsibility, and can you step in at short notice, even if you receive a booking from the school early in the morning?

Due to illness, childcare, and other leave, we need hourly substitutes. As an hourly substitute, you will be right in the middle of the operations, where it is expected that you are flexible and can quickly get used to different routines. The school's first lesson starts around 08:00, which requires you to be available from approx. 07:30.

In Härryda Municipality's schools, students' desire for learning should be stimulated. Learning should be characterized by cooperation, participation, and influence for children and young people. Care and learning should form a whole, and the school should take care of the student in the best possible way. In Härryda Municipality, there are 18 municipal primary schools from Mölnlycke in the west to Rävlanda in the east.

As a teacher substitute, you replace regular staff, which means you should be able to conduct teaching for a whole class, either in various subjects (grades F-6) or in specific subjects (grades 7-9). As a teacher in the leisure center, you participate in activities with students in grades F-6 before school starts and after the school day ends. During the school day, you are in the classroom and support regular teachers.

We are looking for you who want to work at our primary schools in Härryda Municipality during the autumn term. As a person, you are responsible, engaged, calm, and empathetic with a genuine interest in working with children/young people. You are also confident in yourself and can take charge in the classroom as well as create a good teaching environment.

Qualifications

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills
• Extract from the police criminal record (Control of Own Information and Extract for work in school or preschool)
• High school diploma
• Can work at least 4–5 days a week (Mon–Fri)

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police Criminal Record must be presented. You order the criminal record extract on the police's website. If you are called for an interview, you must bring two criminal record extracts, Control of Own Information, in an unopened envelope, and show the Extract for work in school or preschool.

For this application, you need to answer a number of selection questions when you apply. Answers to the questions are used as part of the selection process. Your CV and answers to the questions must be formulated in Swedish. Our needs vary, and based on current needs, we call for interviews.
