About the position
Villa Nora is a residential care home (HVB) for girls aged 10–14 who have been exposed to unsuitable environments, committed occasional crimes, experimented with drugs, and exhibit challenging behaviors.
The home is located approximately 5 km outside of Uppsala.
We work based on learning psychological principles and evidence-based methods with a focus on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Through clear and supportive pedagogy, we create structure and safety, helping clients understand their daily lives and take responsibility for their development.
As a Treatment Pedagogue at Villa Nora, your main tasks will include:
- Creating a sense of safety through activities such as supervision and care.
- Conducting treatment interventions.
- Documentation.
- External contact with social services and other authorities.
- Everyday chores and household tasks are also part of the role.

We are looking for a Treatment Pedagogue or Social Pedagogue with experience working in residential care (HVB). We also welcome applications from candidates with other relevant education, such as Social Work, Behavioral Science, or other documented experience.
The following qualifications are meritorious:
- Experience in treatment work with children and young people in this target group.
- Experience with CBT or other evidence-based methods.
- Experience with documentation and medication management.
Other requirements
- A valid driver’s license (Category B) is required.
- Educational requirement: Minimum a 2-year post-secondary education, such as in Social or Treatment Pedagogy.
- We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
- You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good computer skills.
- A certificate of good conduct (extract from the Police Authority’s criminal and suspicion register) is always required before employment.
About the employment
Working hours and extent: A rolling 4-week schedule with varying day, evening, and weekend shifts, 100% employment.
Salary: Negotiated based on qualifications, and other benefits are paid according to collective agreements.
