ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are currently looking for personal assistants for our client in Vänersborg. We are looking for both those interested in a summer temporary position and those who wish to work as casual staff on an as-needed basis. During the summer, the main focus is on June, but there will also be some shifts in July. There are good opportunities for continued work after the summer!

The work is scheduled both weekdays and weekends during the night with waiting time as follows:

• 21:00 - 08:00 weekdays - waiting time during the night

• 19:00 - 08:00 weekends - waiting time during the night

Start date is by agreement. We would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a happy and lively young woman in her 20s. She has Pitt-Hopkins syndrome, autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, and lacks verbal speech. Her assistants use picture support and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) to communicate with her.

Furthermore, she has a positive and curious attitude towards life. She loves animals, movement, and music, and finds it exciting to watch others engage in sports. She has a great need to be active and feels her best when she can be active – through walks, gymnastics, dancing, or swimming.

As an assistant, you are an important part of enabling her active and content-rich daily life. You accompany and participate in activities such as visits to shopping centers, swimming pools, gymnastics, and music cafes. You support her in daily routines, such as dressing and undressing and personal hygiene. The role also includes helping with cooking, cleaning, and other household chores, as well as creating structure and keeping her schedule organized.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a happy and energetic assistant. You enjoy singing and are not afraid to show your true self. Furthermore, you have a genuine interest in working with people and a good ability to notice and analyze the individual's needs.

As a person, you are sensitive, proactive, and solution-focused. You are engaged in your work and understand the importance of adapting your support based on the situation and the individual's condition. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. The client requests female applicants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license (manual/automatic)

• Non-smoker

• Ability to tolerate chlorine/Ability to swim

• Proficiency in AAC or willingness to learn

• Understand and be able to express yourself well in Swedish

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with the collective agreement.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new rules apply which mean that the register check includes both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be placed in good time.
