As a damage inspector at Werksta Sollefteå, you will become a central part of our workshop where precision, customer contact, and technical competence are in focus. You are responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing inspection reports, and providing clear recommendations for repair measures. The role involves close dialogue with customers, workshop technicians, and service management to ensure efficient and quality-assured damage processes.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect damaged vehicles, document damages, assess extent, and determine repair needs.
  • Prepare clear inspection reports, work proposals, and cost calculations in the workshop system.
  • Collaborate with damage, bodywork, and paint technicians to plan workflows, order parts, and monitor schedules.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders regarding damage status, repair proposals, and delivery.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed repair work and ensure vehicles are returned in the agreed condition.
  • Participate in improvement work regarding inspection routines, documentation, and workplace safety issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience in damage inspection, vehicle repairs, or work within an auto body/paint shop is advantageous.
  • Good technical understanding of vehicle damages and repair methods.
  • Experience in preparing cost calculations and inspection reports; familiarity with workshop systems is advantageous.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written; English is advantageous.
  • A driver's license (Category B) is required or strongly advantageous depending on the role's requirements.
