Stora Högaskolan is beautifully located in the middle of the Stora Höga community between Hakefjorden in the west and Svartedalen in the east. The school is within walking distance of buses and trains. It is a grades 1-9 school and the municipality's largest primary school with just under 800 students.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching in textile crafts grades 1-6 and visual arts grades 1-3. You will work with planning, implementation, and assessment of teaching. At the school, we work systematically with values-based work based on the curriculum Lgr22.

As a teacher with us, you will be part of a work team where you, together with colleagues, contribute to the school's development and together strive to develop and achieve set goals.

You differentiate your teaching and create accessible learning environments for the group so that all students learn and develop. Working as a teacher is about constantly developing based on the students we meet. You should have good pedagogical competence and be well acquainted with the primary school's steering documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply must be a certified teacher in textile crafts and visual arts, or alternatively have acquired experience that the employer assesses as equivalent. You see yourself as a strong pedagogical leader who is passionate about the development of teaching.

You should have a working style where student influence and flexibility are a natural part. You are a good leader in the classroom with clarity in communication, goals, and results. You have qualities that include both structure and creativity.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability and the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

It is important that you are secure in your professional role and that you are clear towards students, parents, and colleagues.
