About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant for our client in central Stockholm. This is a direct hire position on a full-time basis, starting as agreed. In this role, you will work broadly within accounting, taking overall responsibility for ongoing accounting tasks and contributing to monthly and annual closing processes.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing bookkeeping.
• Responsible for monthly and annual closing, including reconciliations.
• Handle VAT and tax reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, as well as invoice processing.
• Prepare payments.
• Prepare annual financial statements.
• Accruals, provisions, and final reconciliations.
• Generate supporting materials and reports for management and the group as needed.
• Collaborate closely with controllers, payroll, and other functions to ensure efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics or equivalent experience within accounting.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with overall responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of closing processes and accounting principles.
• Experience working with multiple accounting systems.
• Very good skills in Excel.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.
