About the Activity

Åsaka School is a grades 1-6 school located approximately 12 km outside the urban area of Trollhättan and has about 130 students. In Åsaka, the school is an important part of the small community, and we have good cooperation with several activities in the area. We work purposefully with pedagogical development to improve our teaching. We want to cherish the proximity that a small unit entails, making decisions as close to the operation as possible to adapt it to the students' needs and to create a safe place to come to. We work based on the motto "All children are everyone's children," which a small school provides good conditions for. The school's vision is that all students should have hope for the future and trust in their own abilities, and that they are met with genuine interest and high positive expectations. We strive to have an inclusive learning environment that means everyone participates based on their conditions and needs.

Job Responsibilities

Your main task is to challenge the student in learning and support the student in their knowledge development towards set goals in the craft subject, together with colleagues in the work team and subject team. The craft subject accounts for 40% at the school. In addition to planning, conducting, and evaluating teaching, you will, together with colleagues in the work team and subject team, work on developing the school based on prioritized development areas.

Qualifications

You must be a qualified teacher in crafts and be well familiar with your teaching assignment based on current regulatory documents and have good knowledge of planning, conducting, documenting, as well as following up and developing the pedagogical activity together with the work team.
