We are looking for an engaged and certified primary school teacher for our intermediate level (grades 4-6) who wants to help create a safe, educational, and inspiring school environment for our students.

The role includes being a contact teacher for a group of students. Together with your work team, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching so that every student is given the prerequisites to develop based on their needs and potential. You create teaching that is meaningful, educational, and challenging, with a focus on students' knowledge development and well-being.

Attarpsskolan F-6 is located in central Bankeryd along the western edge of Lake Vättern, about 1 mile north of Jönköping, with close proximity to both waterways and forests. You can reach Bankeryd conveniently by bus, train, bicycle, or car.

Attarpsskolan's approximately 50 employees collaborate to teach the school's 400 students in grades F-6.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades 4–6. If you have not yet received your certification or are at the end of your education, you are also welcome to apply. Previous experience working as a teacher in grades 4–6 is desirable.

You are well acquainted with the curriculum and firmly rooted in the primary school's mission and its governing documents. You strive to develop each student's abilities, both academically and socially, and are a person who is there for all students at the school.

We want you to be a good leader, both in the classroom and collegially, and that your positive attitude rubs off on those you meet. You treat students and guardians professionally and communicate in a responsible manner. As a teacher, it is important that you collaborate well with the school administration, develop shared leadership in the workplace, and are a good ambassador for both the workplace and the teaching profession. You are flexible and can work in different work teams.

You master the Swedish language well, both orally and in writing. Basic IT skills are required.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Before hiring new employees for our teaching positions, we must ensure that there is a valid teaching certificate. We therefore ask you to attach a current teaching certificate obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
