The Rehabilitation Department at Visby Hospital is looking for an engaged physiotherapist. Here, you will work in a developing and varied clinical environment where you use your skills broadly and contribute to good rehabilitation. You work closely with engaged colleagues on different wards, always with the patient in focus.

We are a joint unit with approximately 27 employees consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation assistants. We staff both wards and clinics at the hospital and are a natural part of the team together with nurses, doctors, and care staff. We are an engaged work group that works person-centred and with a rehabilitative approach. Here, there is a strong desire to develop ourselves and the operations.

Your responsibilities

We are looking for a physiotherapist for a full-time position with primary placement within orthopedics. The placement will primarily be on the orthopedic ward, but there may be occasions where you cover the orthopedic clinic. The position may also involve work on other units within the hospital during, for example, leave and illness, which creates a dynamic and stimulating workday.

Visby Hospital is an emergency hospital with many specialties, despite its size. The work covers both the acute phase and the rehabilitation phase on some wards. Responsibilities include functional assessment and training in both acute and rehabilitation phases, documentation, prescribing and fitting of assistive devices, and participation in team meetings. There is close cooperation with the assistive device centre, outpatient care, and home care.

During holidays and other absences, we cover for each other, which means that good cooperation and interest in our different areas are prerequisites. We have a positive work climate and the tasks are varied and stimulating in a fine work environment.

Who are you?

You who apply are a licensed physiotherapist. Experience in inpatient care is meritorious but not a requirement.
