About the Assignment

In this assignment, you work as a legal expert in data protection and GDPR within a public sector organization. The role is both operational and advisory, involving close collaboration with operations, lawyers, and other specialists. You contribute your expertise in matters concerning personal data handling, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.

Examples of Responsibilities

• Work with data protection issues in accordance with GDPR
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
• Provide legal advice to operations on data protection-related matters
• Support and guide in the interpretation and application of data protection regulations
• Collaborate with various functions within the organization

Who Are You?

You are a lawyer with extensive experience in data protection and are accustomed to working independently in assignments where quality and precision are crucial. You communicate fluently in Swedish and have an easy time collaborating with different roles and functions.

We see that you have:

• A Swedish law degree from a university or college
• Education or training in GDPR
• At least 3 years of experience working with data protection in accordance with GDPR
• Experience conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) on behalf of public sector entities (state, region, or municipality)
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

As a person, you are communicative, responsible, and have good collaboration skills. You also have strong social skills and thrive in an advisory role.

Assignment Duration: Approximately 6–12 months
Start: Autumn 2026, preliminarily September
Location: Stockholm or Malmö
