About the Role
As a Data Protection Lawyer, you will help our clients put the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) into practice and ensure a structured and sustainable approach to regulatory compliance. You will work on reviewing, developing, and integrating data protection into operations, as well as following up and supporting compliance efforts.

The role also includes handling personal data incidents, conducting impact assessments, and training operations – from small teams to large organizations. You will work closely with several clients in parallel, primarily within the public sector such as municipalities and authorities, but also within the private sector. The assignments can be both strategic and operational in nature.

You will become part of our Data Protection & Information Security team – an engaged and knowledge-driven group where we collaborate broadly and gladly share experiences. You will have the freedom to shape your daily work, while contributing to societal benefit in some of Sweden's most important operations.

Qualifications

• University degree in Law
• At least 3 years of practical experience working with data protection issues, such as Data Protection Coordinator or Data Protection Officer
• Experience from the public sector (no requirement that the entire three-year period be within the public sector)
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new operations and build trust
• Experience working independently, for example, in developing action or improvement plans and conducting annual audits
• Fluent in Swedish (both written and spoken)

Meritorious Qualifications:

• Experience in adjacent areas, such as information security
• Previous experience as a consultant
• Project management experience and experience leading assignments
