Temporary Work Facilitator at DeVebo Care – Day Activity Center in Uppsala

Do you want to make a difference? DeVebo Care AB operates a day activity center in Uppsala, procured under the LSS Act (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). We offer 57 places for individuals within target group 1 according to LSS, and our work is guided by our core values: joy in work, community, and individual development.

We are currently seeking two dedicated work facilitators who wish to support our participants in their daily activities.

About the Activity

At our center, participants have the opportunity to develop through meaningful activities and tasks, including but not limited to:

• Animals and Nature
• Property Maintenance
• Transport
• Recycling
• Café Operations
• Sensory Experiences
• Singing and Music

We operate based on a systematic quality management system and adapt our activities to meet the needs and abilities of each individual.

About the Role

As a work facilitator, you will support participants in their daily activities and create a safe and developmental environment. The role requires structure, flexibility, patience, and a pedagogical approach. You must possess strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work in a low-affective manner.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Upper secondary education in Child and Youth Programs, Care and Health Programs, or equivalent
• Experience working with the target group
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Merits:

• Knowledge of TAKK (Supporting and Complementing Communication) or AKK (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
• Category B driver's license
