Are you a meticulous and self-motivated student with an interest in statistics and analysis? Ekonomifakta, part of Svenskt Näringsliv, is now looking for a student employee for a project focused on data collection and compilation of statistics.
About the role
In this role, you will support Ekonomifakta in a project where you work with collecting, structuring, and compiling large amounts of statistics in Excel. You will also contribute suggestions on how different variables can be weighted to enable comparisons and rankings based on various criteria.
This is a perfect assignment for you who are looking for a summer job, thrive in independent work, and have an aptitude for creating structure in large datasets.
Responsibilities
- Collect statistics from public sources
- Structure and compile data in Excel
- Manage and quality-assure large datasets
- Develop proposals for models for weighting and comparing variables
- Contribute to analysis and ranking based on various criteria
We are looking for you who
- Are a university or college student
- Have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Are self-motivated, structured, and meticulous
- Have extensive experience with Excel and working with large datasets
- Have experience in searching for and handling statistics
- Have an analytical mindset and enjoy working in a data-driven manner
It is an advantage if you have previously worked with statistics, analysis, or similar projects.
Additional information
Scope: Full-time, Monday–Friday, for a total of four weeks
Period: Weeks 24–26 in June and week 34 in August
Location: Stockholm, with the possibility of some remote work
