About the Role

We are partnering with an established and forward-looking company in an exciting phase of development. As an Accountant for our client, you will play a key role in the ongoing financial administration. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient accounting processes, with a special focus on customer and supplier accounts as well as monthly reconciliations. The role requires proactivity, attention to detail, and a service-oriented attitude, as you will be a key internal contact person for financial matters.

Furthermore, we are looking for someone who enjoys administrative tasks, as a large part of the role involves this. The position is based at the office in Stockholm, where you will work alongside colleagues from other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing accounting and monthly closing
  • Handle and book bank transactions, with a focus on incoming and outgoing payments on various currency accounts and international payments
  • Work with customer and supplier accounts
  • Create invoices in the ERP system and match advance/card payments
  • Ensure correct handling of VAT codes and international transactions
  • Manage the shared email inbox for the finance function

We are looking for you who

  • Have a completed post-secondary education in economics or equivalent professional experience
  • Are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Have very good system and computer skills, specifically strong knowledge of Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Have experience with older ERP systems
  • Have experience working with manual processes and complex systems in financial work
  • Have knowledge of tax declarations, VAT reporting, and employer contributions
  • Have worked at an international company involving international payments

It is an advantage if you have

  • A good understanding of the K3 accounting standard
  • Experience with payroll administration
  • An interest in IT and systems
  • Experience with Visma eEkonomi
