Do you want to work close to production in a technically advanced environment where you can drive improvements and influence future manufacturing processes? We are now looking for a Production Technician who wants to develop and optimize production in a modern industrial environment. Here you will have a central role in ensuring efficient flows, high quality, and stable processes – while working closely with both operators and engineers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In the role of Production Technician, you work with developing, improving, and stabilizing production processes within cutting machining. You play a key role in supporting daily production and contributing to the implementation of future production solutions.
You work closely with production teams and are involved in identifying areas for improvement, handling deviations, and optimizing flows and processes. The role involves a strong focus on analysis, preparation, and structure – where you often work in the step before changes are implemented in production.
You will become part of an experienced and cohesive team where knowledge sharing and collaboration are central. There are good opportunities for development and support from colleagues with long experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and improve production flows for increased efficiency and quality
- Identify root causes of deviations and drive improvement measures
- Work with process preparation and production setup
- Support production with daily technical questions
- Participate in improvement work related to Lean and efficiency
- Collaborate with functions such as production, quality, maintenance, and logistics
- Contribute to the standardization of working methods and documentation
- Ensure that processes follow current requirements and guidelines
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Have a university or civil engineering degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, or similar
- Alternatively, have a YH (University College) education combined with relevant work experience
- Have 2–5 years of experience in production, for example as a production technician, process engineer, or quality engineer
- Have experience in improvement work, troubleshooting, and process development
- Have a good understanding of production flows and manufacturing processes
- Have knowledge in cutting machining (meritorious)
- Speak and write fluently in Swedish
WE BELIEVE YOU ARE
- A person who thrives in a dynamic production environment where the pace is sometimes high. You have practical problem-solving skills and enjoy working close to the operations.
- You are communicative and find it easy to collaborate with different functions – from operators to engineers. You are structured in your work approach and have the ability to document and create clear processes.
- Furthermore, you are engaged, curious, and have a drive to constantly improve and develop both working methods and production. You appreciate working in a team and contribute to a positive and solution-oriented work environment.
- You are motivated by seeing concrete results from your work – where improvements in production make a real difference.
