About the position

We at Olivia are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant at approximately 40% with our client in Älvängen. The start date is by agreement, and we would be happy if you could start the onboarding process immediately.

The working hours are scheduled every other weekend as follows:

• Approx. 10:00–19:00 (even weekends)

About the client

The client is an active 11-year-old boy who enjoys long walks, swimming, and jumping on a trampoline. He needs your help as an assistant in his daily life due to autism and an intellectual disability. The client is non-verbal.

The duties are as follows:

• Support with daily routines

• Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals

• Practical support in everyday activities

Are you the one we are looking for?

We believe that you who apply for this position are someone who enjoys working with people and can put others' needs first. As a person, you are calm, secure, socially aware, solution-focused, proactive, and reliable. You also have good physical fitness as you often accompany the client on physical activities.

Requirements:

• Non-smoker

• Can swim and tolerate chlorine

• Good physical fitness

Employment level: Approximately 40% (16 hours per week)

Start date: Immediately. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits are in accordance with the collective agreement.

Things to consider before applying:

A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you can present a valid ID and submit a certificate of personal details (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. Since the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.

To work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new rules apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order it well in advance.
