We at Olivia are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Växjö during the summer of 2026. The client prefers female assistants in their team. Start can be immediate as a substitute if needed, for example, when regular assistants are absent.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

The working hours vary. Weekdays, weekends, daytime, evenings, and sleeping on-call nights are included.

• 08:00–19:00

• 08:00–16:30

• 16:00–08:15 (8 hours waiting time)

• 19:00–08:00 (8 hours waiting time)

• 08:00–08:00 (24-hour shift with 8 hours waiting time)

The tasks include:

• Helping with daily routines such as household chores

• Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals

We are looking for someone who is sensitive, calm, proactive, flexible, engaged, and a good team player. You are a person who enjoys working with people and can recognize the needs of others.

Requirements:

• Non-smoker

• Available for sleeping on-call shifts with waiting time

• Vaccinated against Covid-19

• Available for varying hours during the summer of 2026

Merits:

• Driver's license

• Professional experience working as a personal assistant or within care services

• Healthcare education

Employment level: 2 positions

Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Things to consider before applying:

A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you must be able to present a valid ID document and submit a tax certificate (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the tax certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you wish to work with children and young people under 18, you must provide a certificate of no criminal record. It is important to order these documents in good time, as the Police's processing time may vary. Due to legislative changes effective from March 1, 2026, the background check will be expanded to include both a certificate of no criminal record and a certificate from the suspicion register.
