We are now looking for an assistant to strengthen our team for a happy and active man in Eksjö who requires 24-hour personal assistance. We are looking for you who understand the importance of good cooperation with the client, colleagues, and us as the assistance provider. Working in this group means the workplace is wherever the client is. We are looking for you who want to become a reliable and valuable assistant and colleague. We work according to daily routines and documentation. The daily work consists of supporting the client in tasks they cannot do independently. As an assistant, you need to be helpful with basic needs such as feeding, dressing and undressing, communication, and personal hygiene. The work also includes accompanying the client to various activities, such as day activities, as well as other activities the client wishes to do. We offer pleasant colleagues and a client who truly appreciates their assistants.

Working with the client gives you a varied and stimulating job, but the work is also responsible, and it is important that routines are followed. Being able to set boundaries is a requirement. We would like assistants here to have a positive and easy-going attitude. A positive and inventive problem solver who sees solutions instead of problems – that is what we need!

The Assistant's Role and Experience

As a person, you need to be careful, responsible, sensitive, proactive, and positive.

You will receive individualized introduction/training in all parts regarding the client's care needs and routines.

You need to be flexible regarding working hours because we in the work group cover staffing if someone gets sick – we support our client and each other. You should not be allergic to fur-bearing animals as there is a dog in the home.

Merit-based Experience

• Experience from work within healthcare/care.
• Swedish language skills in speech and writing.
• Knowledge of sign language or a desire to learn.
• Category B driver's license.
• Good swimming skills.

Working Hours/Employment Level

• Fixed schedule rotation, approx. 30 hours/week.
• One weekend per month.
• Extra shifts as needed during the regular assistant's sick leave and vacation.

About Salary

• We apply salary according to the Fremia Collective Agreement.
• We offer health care benefits and training.
